Traditional knowledge – formula	茴香一两（炒）木香槟榔香附子各一两三棱莪术各三钱荜澄茄良姜（用巴豆炒）青橘皮半两（巴豆五枚炒，去巴豆）奔豚痃癖，心气腹满，两胁刺痛，牵引腰背，屈伸不利。

莪术：姜科植物蓬莪术Curcuma phaeocaulis Val．、广西莪术Curcuma kwangsiensis S．G．Lee et C．F．Liang或温郁金Curcuma wenyujin Y．H．Chen et C．Ling的干燥根茎。后者习称“温莪术”。冬季茎叶枯萎后采挖，洗净，蒸或煮至透心，晒干或低温干燥后除去须根和杂质。
木香：菊科植物木香Aucklandia lappa Decne.的干燥根。秋、冬二季采挖，除去泥沙和须根，切段，大的再纵剖成瓣，干燥后撞去粗皮。
三棱：黑三棱科植物黑三棱Sparganium stoloniferum Buch.-Ham．的干燥块茎。冬季至次年春采挖，洗净，削去外皮，晒干。

Indications: 奔豚痃癖，心气腹满，两胁刺痛，牵引腰背，屈伸不利。

Usage and dosage: 上为粗末。每服三钱，水一盏，煎至七分，空心热服。
