麦门冬：为百合科植物麦冬或沿阶草的块根。
五味子：木兰科植物五味子Schisandra chinensis （Turcz．）Baill．的干燥成熟果实。习称“北五味子”。秋季果实成熟时采摘，晒干或蒸后晒干，除去果梗和杂质。
大黄：蓼科植物掌叶大黄　　Rheum palmatum L．、唐古特大黄Rheum tanguticum Maxim. ex Balf.或药用大黄Rheum officinale Baill.的干燥根和根茎。秋末茎叶枯萎或次春发芽前采挖，除去细根，刮去外皮，切瓣或段，绳穿成串干燥或直接干燥。

Indications: 小儿寒热咳逆，膈中有癖，吐乳，不欲食。

Usage and dosage: 上锉。以水三升，煮取一升，去滓，纳消
石、蜜，煮令沸，每服二合，一日三次。大者服
五合。
