Traditional knowledge – formula	芍药六两桂心三两甘草（炙）二两喘而发热，颈脉皆动，日渐瘦削，由客热乘肺，或因饮食失宜，气不转而气急，误服热药，火气熏肺而遂喘，颊赤咽燥，其脉细数。

肉桂：樟科植物肉桂Cinnamonum cassia Presl的干燥树皮。多于秋季剥取，阴干。
甘草：豆科植物甘草Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.、胀果甘草Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat.或光果甘草Glycyrrhiza glabra L．的干燥根和根茎。春、秋二季采挖，除去须根，晒干。

Indications: 喘而发热，颈脉皆动，日渐瘦削，由客热乘肺，或因饮食失宜，气不转而气急，误服热药，火气熏肺而遂喘，颊赤咽燥，其脉细数。

Usage and dosage: 上为散。每服五钱，水二盏，加生姜三
片，大枣二个，同煎至一盏，去滓温服。
与天门冬汤同服。
