瑞连草：为菊科植物钻叶紫菀的全草。
当归：伞形科植物当归Angelica sinensis（Oliv．）Diels 的干燥根。秋末采挖，除去须根和泥沙，待水分稍蒸发后，捆成小把，上棚，用烟火慢慢熏干。
何首乌：蓼科植物何首乌Polygonum multiflorum Thunb．的干燥块根。秋、冬二季叶枯萎时采挖，削去两端，洗净，个大的切成块，干燥。
甘草：豆科植物甘草Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.、胀果甘草Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat.或光果甘草Glycyrrhiza glabra L．的干燥根和根茎。春、秋二季采挖，除去须根，晒干。

Usage and dosage: 用好镜面烧酒二十斤，浸二十一日，去前
药，入酒浆六十斤，窨七七。每服三大杯，早、
午各一次。白可转黑。
