Traditional knowledge – formula	枳壳酒大黄槟榔末甘草痘后滞下。因平日食煎炒，素有积热，痘后气血虚，不能胜积，故利脓血，肠鸣作痛，里急后重；或疗肠垢，因痘出之后，饮水太过，水停作泄，热毒乘虚入里，便下脓血者。

枳壳：芸香科植物酸橙Citrus aurantium L．及其栽培变种的干燥未成熟果实。 7月果皮尚绿时采收，自中部横切为两半，晒干或低温干燥。
甘草：豆科植物甘草Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.、胀果甘草Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat.或光果甘草Glycyrrhiza glabra L．的干燥根和根茎。春、秋二季采挖，除去须根，晒干。
大黄：蓼科植物掌叶大黄　　Rheum palmatum L．、唐古特大黄Rheum tanguticum Maxim. ex Balf.或药用大黄Rheum officinale Baill.的干燥根和根茎。秋末茎叶枯萎或次春发芽前采挖，除去细根，刮去外皮，切瓣或段，绳穿成串干燥或直接干燥。

Indications: 痘后滞下。因平日食煎炒，素有积热，痘后气血虚，不能胜积，故利脓血，肠鸣作痛，里急后重；或疗肠垢，因痘出之后，饮水太过，水停作泄，热毒乘虚入里，便下脓血者。

Usage and dosage: 水煎服。次用黄芩汤
