大黄：蓼科植物掌叶大黄　　Rheum palmatum L．、唐古特大黄Rheum tanguticum Maxim. ex Balf.或药用大黄Rheum officinale Baill.的干燥根和根茎。秋末茎叶枯萎或次春发芽前采挖，除去细根，刮去外皮，切瓣或段，绳穿成串干燥或直接干燥。

Indications: 积聚。

Usage and dosage: 贴块上。内服保中丸。
《医级》本方用法：先将肥皂熬膏，入消水再熬，次入葱、蒜、生姜，熬至三炷香，取出，绞滤去渣，后入大黄末，搅匀成膏。另以醋炒飞箩面黑色，再入醋并前膏一处熬极匀，收贮磁器内，用布摊贴积块上。
