Traditional knowledge – formula	蒲黄（微炒）甘草（炙）桂（去粗皮）陈橘皮（汤浸去白，焙）各三分牛膝（去苗，酒浸，切，焙）一两胎死腹中，若子已出，胞衣不下，腰背痛。

蒲黄：香蒲科植物水烛香蒲Typha angustifolia L．、东方香蒲Typha orientalis Presl或同属植物的干燥花粉。夏季采收蒲棒上部的黄色雄花序，晒干后碾轧，筛取花粉。剪取雄花后，晒干，成为带有雄花的花粉，即为草蒲黄。
陈皮：芸香科植物橘Citrus reticulata Blanco及其栽培变种的干燥成熟果皮。药材分为“陈皮’’和“广陈皮’’。采摘成熟果实，剥取果皮，晒干或低温干燥。
甘草：豆科植物甘草Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.、胀果甘草Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat.或光果甘草Glycyrrhiza glabra L．的干燥根和根茎。春、秋二季采挖，除去须根，晒干。

Indications: 胎死腹中，若子已出，胞衣不下，腰背痛。

Usage and dosage: 上为散。每服二钱匕，温酒调下，不拘时
候，以下为度。
