桑白皮：桑科植物桑Morus alba L.的干燥根皮。秋末叶落时至次春发芽前采挖根部，刮去黄棕色粗皮，纵向剖开，剥取根皮，晒干。
紫苏叶：唇形科植物紫苏Perilla frutescens（L．）Britt．的干燥叶（或带嫩枝）。夏季枝叶茂盛时采收，除去杂质，晒干。
防风：伞形科植物防风Sa poshnikovia divaricata（Turcz．）Schischk．的干燥根。春、秋二季采挖未抽花茎植株的根，除去须根和泥沙，晒干。
白术：菊科植物白术Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz．的干燥根茎。冬季下部叶枯黄、上部叶变脆时采挖，除去泥沙，烘干或晒干，再除去须根。
