苦参：豆科植物苦参Sophora flavescens Ait．的干燥根。春、秋二季采挖，除去根头和小支根，洗净，干燥，或趁鲜切片，干燥。
大枣：鼠李科植物枣Ziziphus jujuba Mill.的干燥成熟果实。秋季果实成熟时采收，晒干。
