龙胆：龙胆科植物条叶龙胆Gentiana manshurica Kitag.、龙胆Gentiana scabra Bge.、三花龙胆Gentiana triflora Pall.或坚龙胆Gentiana rigescens Franch.的干燥根和根茎。前三种习称“龙胆”，后一种习称“坚龙胆”。春、秋二季采挖，洗净，干燥。
玉竹：百合科植物玉竹Polygonatum odoratum（ Mill．）Druce的干燥根茎。秋季采挖，除去须根，洗净，晒至柔软后，反复揉搓、晾晒至无硬心，晒干；或蒸透后，揉至半透明，晒干。
升麻：毛茛科植物大三叶升麻Cimiciufuga heracleifoliaKom．、兴安升麻Cimicifufuga dahurica （Turca）Maxim．或升麻Cimicifuga foetida L的干燥根茎。秋季采挖，除去泥沙，晒至须根干时，燎去或除去须根，晒干。

Indications: 中水毒，寒热。

Usage and dosage: 上为粗末。每服五钱匕，水一盏半，煎至
八分，去滓温服，未愈频服。
