莪术：姜科植物蓬莪术Curcuma phaeocaulis Val．、广西莪术Curcuma kwangsiensis S．G．Lee et C．F．Liang或温郁金Curcuma wenyujin Y．H．Chen et C．Ling的干燥根茎。后者习称“温莪术”。冬季茎叶枯萎后采挖，洗净，蒸或煮至透心，晒干或低温干燥后除去须根和杂质。
当归：伞形科植物当归Angelica sinensis（Oliv．）Diels 的干燥根。秋末采挖，除去须根和泥沙，待水分稍蒸发后，捆成小把，上棚，用烟火慢慢熏干。
乌药：樟科植物乌药Lindera aggregata（ Sims） Kos-term.的干燥块根。全年均可采挖，除去细根，洗净，趁鲜切片，晒干，或直接晒干。

Indications: 妇人心膈迷闷，腹脏掐撮疼痛，气急气闷，月经不调。

Usage and dosage: 上药并生为细末。每服二钱，温酒调下，
服后以食压之，如是产后诸疾，炒生姜、酒调下。
