Influence of forest-medicinal plant mode on forest land environment

摘要 In order to study the effects of planting medicinal plant under plantation on the forest land environment, the forest growth and soil physical and chemical properties were monitored and analyzed under forest-medicinal plant mode of Metasequoia glyptostroboides + Rehmanniae,Metasequoia glyptostroboides + Isatis indigotica,Ginkgo biloba + Rehmanniae,Ginkgo biloba + Isatis indigotica,and Zelkova serrata + Fritillaria thunbergii. The results showed that there were no significant effects of planting medicinal plant under plantation on the height and breast diameter growth of trees. After planting medicinal plants for 1 year, the levels of soil organic matter obviously reduced in Rehmanniae and Isatis indigotica blocks. In all test blocks,the available nutrient contents of soil tended to be lower than before planting, and there were no significant changes in soil salinity and pH, which indicated that forest-medicinal plant mode affected less on the forest land environment in a short period.
