Profile

Cao Wujisiguleng, female, Mongolian, born in February 1982 in Horqin Left Middle Banner, Inner Mongolia, member of the Communist Party of China, is an associate professor, postdoctoral researcher and master's supervisor. She is Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Mongolian Medicine Research and Development Engineering (Ministry of Education) and head of the Teaching and Research Section of Mongolian Medicine Identification and Medicinal Plants at the School of Mongolian Medicine. She teaches Medicinal Botany, Pharmaceutical English, Pharmaceutical Latin and Mongolian Medicinal Resources and Ethnobotany. Her research focuses on Mongolian medicinal resources and their development, applying ethnobotany, Mongolian pharmacy, pharmacology and cultivation science to study plant resources, chemical constituents, pharmacological activity and the use and conservation of these resources. She is Executive Secretary-General of the Medicinal Resources Branch of the China Medical Association of Minorities, Vice President of the Inner Mongolia Botanical Society, a standing council member of the Mongolian Medicine Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and a member or council member of committees of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, the Ethnobotany Branch of the Botanical Society of China and the China Medical Association of Minorities.
