Ethnobotany — the first introductory book

Ethnobotany is an interdisciplinary science of the interactions between people and plants. It studies how people perceive and use plants, the history, present state and future dynamics of this perception and use, and applies the findings to the sustainable use of plant resources and the conservation of plant diversity.

Ethnobotany, edited by Pei Shengji and Huai Huyin and published by Shanghai Scientific and Technical Publishers in 2007, is the first essential introductory book for students of ethnobotany.
