黄连：毛茛科植物黄连Coptis chinensis Franch.、三角叶黄连Coptis deltoidea C．Y．Cheng et Hsiao或云连Coptis teeta Wall.的干燥根茎。以上三种分别习称“味连”、“雅连”、“云连”。秋季采挖，除去须根和泥沙，干燥，撞去残留须根。
赤小豆：豆科植物赤小豆Vigna umbellata Ohwi et Ohashi或赤豆Vigna angularis Ohwi et Ohashi的干燥成熟种子。秋季果实成熟而未开裂时拔取全株，晒干，打下种子，除去杂质，再晒干。
大黄：蓼科植物掌叶大黄　　Rheum palmatum L．、唐古特大黄Rheum tanguticum Maxim. ex Balf.或药用大黄Rheum officinale Baill.的干燥根和根茎。秋末茎叶枯萎或次春发芽前采挖，除去细根，刮去外皮，切瓣或段，绳穿成串干燥或直接干燥。

Indications: 灸疮焮肿及赤烂。

Usage and dosage: 上为散。每用半钱匕，以生麻油调涂。
