续断：川续断科植物川续断Dipsacus asper Wall．Ex Henry的干燥根。秋季采挖，除去根头和须根，用微火烘至半干，堆置“发汗”至内部变绿色时，再烘干。
蒲黄：香蒲科植物水烛香蒲Typha angustifolia L．、东方香蒲Typha orientalis Presl或同属植物的干燥花粉。夏季采收蒲棒上部的黄色雄花序，晒干后碾轧，筛取花粉。剪取雄花后，晒干，成为带有雄花的花粉，即为草蒲黄。
艾叶：菊科植物艾Artemisia argyi Lévl. et Vant．的干燥叶。夏季花未开时采摘，除去杂质，晒干。

Indications: 妇人鼻衄，出血数升，不知人事。

Usage and dosage: 上为细散。每服二钱，煮竹茹粥饮调下，
不拘时候。
