Traditional knowledge – formula	黄连五钱（炒黑）大黄末一斤冰片二分足三阴经湿热所致烂皮湿热，其症腿部红肿，所损不过一层薄皮，流脂成片，类乎血风，浸淫不已。

冰片：
黄连：毛茛科植物黄连Coptis chinensis Franch.、三角叶黄连Coptis deltoidea C．Y．Cheng et Hsiao或云连Coptis teeta Wall.的干燥根茎。以上三种分别习称“味连”、“雅连”、“云连”。秋季采挖，除去须根和泥沙，干燥，撞去残留须根。
大黄：蓼科植物掌叶大黄　　Rheum palmatum L．、唐古特大黄Rheum tanguticum Maxim. ex Balf.或药用大黄Rheum officinale Baill.的干燥根和根茎。秋末茎叶枯萎或次春发芽前采挖，除去细根，刮去外皮，切瓣或段，绳穿成串干燥或直接干燥。

Indications: 足三阴经湿热所致烂皮湿热，其症腿部红肿，所损不过一层薄皮，流脂成片，类乎血风，浸淫不已。

Usage and dosage: 桐油一斤，入锅内，熬起白星，加上药，
搅匀。摊贴。
