黄柏：芸香科植物黄皮树Phellodendron chinense Schneid.的干燥树皮。习称“川黄柏”。剥取树皮后，除去粗皮，晒干。
黄连：毛茛科植物黄连Coptis chinensis Franch.、三角叶黄连Coptis deltoidea C．Y．Cheng et Hsiao或云连Coptis teeta Wall.的干燥根茎。以上三种分别习称“味连”、“雅连”、“云连”。秋季采挖，除去须根和泥沙，干燥，撞去残留须根。

Indications: 针眼。暴肿痛不得开。

Usage and dosage: 上为末，更入乳中冲，重研令极细匀。每
取如黍米大，点目眦头。
