苦参：豆科植物苦参Sophora flavescens Ait．的干燥根。春、秋二季采挖，除去根头和小支根，洗净，干燥，或趁鲜切片，干燥。
荆芥穗：唇形科植物荆芥Schizonepeta tenuisfolia Briq．的干燥花穗。夏、秋二季花开到顶、穗绿时采摘，除去杂质，晒干。
白芷：伞形科植物白芷Angelica dahurica（ Fisch. exHoffm.） Benth. et Hook.f．或杭白芷Angalica dahurica（Fisch. ex Hoffm. ）Benth. et Hook.f. var. formosana （Boiss.）Shan et Yuan的干燥根。夏、秋间叶黄时采挖，除去须根和泥沙，晒干或低温干燥。
白及：兰科植物白及Bletilla striata（Thunb．）Reichb.f．的干燥块茎。夏、秋二季采挖，除去须根，洗净，置沸水中煮或蒸至无白心，晒至半干，除去外皮，晒干。
