黄连：毛茛科植物黄连Coptis chinensis Franch.、三角叶黄连Coptis deltoidea C．Y．Cheng et Hsiao或云连Coptis teeta Wall.的干燥根茎。以上三种分别习称“味连”、“雅连”、“云连”。秋季采挖，除去须根和泥沙，干燥，撞去残留须根。
草豆蔻：姜科植物草豆蔻Alpinia katsumadai Hayata的干燥近成熟种子。夏、秋二季采收，晒至九成千，或用水略烫，晒至半干，除去果皮，取出种子团，晒干。
丁香：桃金娘科植物丁香Eugenia caryophyllataThunb.的干燥花蕾。当花蕾由绿色转红时采摘，晒干。

Indications: 霍乱。水利不止，吐不下食，兼烦渴。

Usage and dosage: 上为散。每服三钱，以水一中盏，加黑豆
五十粒，生姜半分，煎至六分，去滓温服，不拘
时候。
