朱砂：硫化物类矿物辰砂族辰砂，主含硫化汞（ HgS）采挖后，选取纯净者，用磁铁吸净含铁的杂质，再用水淘去杂石和泥沙。
孩儿茶：为豆科植物儿茶心材或去皮枝干煎制而成的干燥浸膏。
轻粉：氯化亚汞（Hg2Cl2）。
苦参：豆科植物苦参Sophora flavescens Ait．的干燥根。春、秋二季采挖，除去根头和小支根，洗净，干燥，或趁鲜切片，干燥。

Usage and dosage: 上为细末，粳米饮为丸，如梧桐子大。每服二
十丸，米汤送下，日进二服，口噙绿豆汤。
