Traditional knowledge – formula	紫油厚朴三斤（用老姜二斤切片，同煮一时，去姜不用）干姜四两（用甘草二两同煮一时，去甘草不用）胃脘痛。

厚朴：木兰科植物厚朴Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils．或凹叶厚朴Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils.var.biloba Rehd. et Wils．的干燥干皮、根皮及枝皮。 4～6月剥取，根皮和枝皮直接阴干；干皮置沸水中微煮后，堆置阴湿处，“发汗’’至内表面变紫褐色或棕褐色时，蒸软，取出，卷成筒状，干燥。

Indications: 胃脘痛。

Usage and dosage: 将二味炒干，为细末，黑枣煮汤（去皮
核）为丸。每服二钱，开水送下，久服断根。用
暖胃膏痛止后，继用本方。
