苦参：豆科植物苦参Sophora flavescens Ait．的干燥根。春、秋二季采挖，除去根头和小支根，洗净，干燥，或趁鲜切片，干燥。
荆芥：唇形科植物剂芥Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briq.的干燥地上部分。夏、秋二季花开到顶、穗绿时采割，除去杂质，晒干。
